Multiple American Athletic Conference teams came away with sweeps during Friday's matches of tournament play.  East Carolina had a pair of sweeps against Norfolk State and UNCW, while UTSA swept Georgia Southern, Florida Atlantic swept UIW and Youngstown State, Tulane swept Prairie View, Tulsa swept UT Arlington, Charlotte swept Texas Southern and Rice swept Houston Christian.
