IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s monthly golf honors for the month of October.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Month
Jake Peacock, Jr. – South Florida
Peacock won his lone tournament during the month of October, taking first place at the Florida Atlantic Invitational.  He was the only player to shoot under par at 3-under 210.  He led the Bulls with 14 birdies and helped South Florida capture the team championship by 20 strokes.
 
Women’s Golf Player of the Month
Cherry Marley, Fr. – South Florida
Marley had a strong showing at the Dale McNamara Invitational, shooting a low round of 69.  Marley led South Florida with 16 birdies through two tournaments during the month of October.
