IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the ninth week of the 2025 season.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Ai Kitagawa, So., M, Memphis
Kitagawa scored three goals in a pair of wins for Memphis. The sophomore scored a goal in the Tigers’ 4-1 win over North Texas on Thursday before scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over Florida Atlantic on Sunday, including the game-winner in the 89th minute.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Kameron Kloza, R-Sr., D, UTSA
Kloza led the Roadrunner defense to a 2-1 win over South Florida, allowing seven shots on goal. The redshirt senior also contributed the game-winning goal in the 78th minute.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Tatum Sanders, Sr., Tulsa
Sanders recorded nine saves in two matches, allowing only one goal. The senior made four saves in a 1-0 shutout of UAB on Thursday before saving five shots in a 1-1 draw with North Texas on Sunday.
 
Freshman of the Week
Rory Brown, D, Charlotte
Brown scored the game-winning goal for the 49ers in a 2-0 win over Temple.
 
Honorable Mention
Lailah Stewart, Jr., F, UAB
Stewart recorded a hat trick in the Blazers’ 5-2 win over East Carolina.
 
Megan Bradley, Sr., F, Charlotte
Bradley provided an assist in a 1-1 draw with Charlotte on Thursday and scored a goal in the 49ers’ 2-0 win over Temple on Sunday.
 
Harlee Head, R-Jr., GK, Charlotte
Head recorded four saves in a 1-1 draw with Rice and earned a shutout against Temple.
 
AJ Mayock, So., M, East Carolina
Mayock scored a brace against UAB on Sunday.
 
Lilian Vandiver, Fr., D, North Texas
Vandiver had three points in two matches, providing an assist against Memphis on Thursday and scored the game-tying goal against Tulsa on Sunday.
 
Eileen Albers, Jr., M, Rice
Albers scored two goals in the Owls’ 3-1 win over South Florida on Sunday.
