Charlotte's Chaisilprungruang, Memphis' Wang Earn October Golf Player of the Month Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s monthly golf honors, for the month of October.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Month
Yixaing Wang, Jr., Memphis
Wang earned three top five finishes over the course of the month, including a first place finish at the Steelwood Collegiate, defeating five top 100 opponents, and a runner-up finish at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational. Over three tournaments, Wang held a 68.3 stroke average.
 
Women’s Golf Player of the Month
Pinky Chaisilprungruang, So., - Charlotte
Chaisilprungruang earned her fourth career podium finish at the French Broad Collegiate Invitational, while also tying for 6th place at the Mercedes-Benz Invitational. At the Mercedes-Benz Invitational, she set a program record, shooting 6-under 65 in the final round. She held a 67.8 stroke average over the two tournaments.
