IRVING, Texas – The 2025 American Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship will be held Wednesday through Saturday (February 19-22) at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium in Dallas. It is the fifth consecutive season the Championship has been held at the venue. Rice has been selected as the favorite in the Pre-Championship Coaches Poll.
Live coverage of the American Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship will be available on ESPN+ for all seven sessions. Preliminary sessions will begin at 11:30 a.m. Eastern/10:30 a.m. Central Thursday through Saturday. Coverage of the finals will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Central on Wednesday and Saturday and at 6:10 p.m. Eastern/5:10 p.m. Central on Thursday and Friday.
The 2025 meet will feature six teams including East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, FIU, North Texas, Rice and Tulane. Events will be scored through the top 24 competitors in each event.
FIU captured its first American championship in 2024, while Rice was third. East Carolina’s Frida Zuniga Guzman was the 2024 Championship’s Most Outstanding Diver. FIU captured seven events in 2024, while Rice won six.
FIU is the top seed in two of the five relay events, including the 200-yard freestyle and 200 medley relays, while Tulane is top seed in the 400 freestyle and 400 medley relays. Rice comes in with the top time this season in the 800 freestyle relay.
