South Florida's Historic Season Ends at NCAA National Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif.  – The South Florida men's golf team's memorable season came to end Sunday at the NCAA National Championships hosted by the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA. The Bulls finished the tournament with an 897 (+33) landing them a 25th place finish among the nation's top-30 teams. 
 
South Florida's resilience got them to the National Championships. After losing The American Championship in a two-round playoff to Charlotte, the Bulls faced tremendous adversity in the Regionals. The team was two strokes out of a qualifying spot heading into round three of Regionals when they caught fire. The Bulls shot the low round of -10 in round three catapulting them into the top-five which punched their ticket to the big dance.
 
Wilhelm Ryding posted the low score of the week for the Bulls with a 221 (+5) which was good for a T71 finish.
 
Jake Peacock finished with a 223 (+7). Shubham Jaglan carded a 227 (+11).
 
Nino Palmquist finished with a 229 (+13). Cooper Smith finishes the tournament with a 230 (+14).
