IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly cross country awards for the week ending Sunday, September 14.
 
Men’s Athlete of the Week
Maddon Muhammad, R-Sr., Charlotte
Muhammad finished in first place at the Queen City Invitational in a field that included No. 13 North Carolina.  The redshirt-senior helped the 49ers earn a first-place team finish as well.
 
Women’s Athlete of the Week
Ella White, So., Charlotte
In a competitive field featuring ranked teams from multiple divisions, White finished in third place.  With 20 teams in the field, White helped guide the 49ers to a second-place team finish, behind only No. 30 Wake Forest.
