Army bounced back from a season-opening loss to Tarleton State in Week 1 with a solid 24-21 win at Kansas State in Week 2 … The Black Knights were idle last weekend … Army has seen its starting quarterback rush for at least 100 yards in each of the first two games … QB Dewayne Coleman had exactly 100 yards against Tarleton State, while QB Cale Hellums went for 124 yards against Kansas State in his first career start … Hellums leads the team with 161 rushing yards and three touchdowns through two games … S Collin Matteson was chosen as the FWAA national defensive player of the week after the win against Kansas State after he had three pass breakups and the clinching interception on the Wildcats’ final possession.
