Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor Preston, Sr., OH, Rice
Preston posted two matches with 25 or more kills. She led the Owls with 5.20 kills per set, while hitting .300.
Defensive Player of the Week
Loredana Fouonji, Jr., MB, North Texas
Fouonji was a force at the net for the Mean Green, averaging 1.86 blocks per set. She finished with eight total blocks in the 3-1 win over UAB.
Setter of the Week
Raegan Richardson, So., S, South Florida
Richardson led the Bulls to a 2-0 conference opening weekend, pacing South Florida with 12.38 assists per set.
Freshman of the Week
Zaniah Hoskins, Fr., OH, Memphis
Hoskins averaged 5.55 points per set in three matches for the Tigers, while hitting .324 from her outside hitter position.
Honorable Mention
Maria Clara Andrade, Sr., OH, South Florida
Andrade averaged 4.75 kills per set in a pair of wins for the Bulls, hitting a combined .321.
Claudia Rivera, Fr., L, Temple
Rivera led the Owls with 4.46 digs per set across three matches, including a high of 24 digs in a 3-2 win at Rice.
Jill Hanson, Fr., MB, Tulsa
Hanson led the Golden Hurricane in points per set (3.40) and blocks per set (1.40).
Brooklyn Leggett, R-Sr., RS, Wichita State
Leggett led the Shockers to a pair of wins, averaging 3.43 kills per set and 0.86 blocks per set, while hitting .404.
Maddie Wilson, R-Jr., MB, Wichita State
Wilson averaged 1.43 blocks per set in a pair of conference wins.
