American volleyball teams had a strong weekend of performance, highlighted by Tulsa and South Florida earning wins over teams receiving votes in the AVCA national poll.  South Florida defeated Florida State on Friday in five sets behind Maria Clara Andrade's 18 kills, while Tulsa defeated Oklahoma in Fayetteville 3-1 Behind Beth Bayless' 11 kills.

East Carolina continued their undefeated streak, improving to 6-0 on the season, while Temple and Tulane increased their win streaks to four wins.

American volleyball will continue on Wednesday when Temple hosts Villanova at 4 p.m. ET.
