IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors.
 
Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Moritz Kudernatsch, Junior, Memphis
In the lone match of the week for the Tigers, Kudernatsch aided Memphis greatly in a 4-3 win over Harvard on January 18. The junior teamed up with Maxime Dubouch to defeat Benjamin Privara and Nathan Blokhin, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles before earning a win over the No. 109 Privara in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, to earn the match-clinching point at No. 1 singles
 
Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Xin Tong Wang, Junior, Wichita State
Wang aided the Shockers to their first win over SMU since 2019 by winning the matchup at No. 1 singles against No. 46 Sophie Llewellyn, 6-4, 6-3. The junior also clinched in the doubles point in a win over Texas State with partner Giorgia Roselli, 6-4.
