IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors.
 
Swimming Athlete of the Week
Andrea Zeebe, Senior, Tulane
Zeebe won two individual events as the Green Wave defeated West Florida on January 24 in Pensacola, Fla. The senior captured the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:18.70, fifth-fastest in the American this season, and touched first in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.00.
 
Freshman Swimming Athlete of the Week
Tanith Mueller, East Carolina
Mueller captured three event wins against Georgia Southern on January 24. The freshman won the 200-yard butterfly in 1:58.94, third-fastest in the conference this season. She also won the 50 butterfly in 25.47 and 100 butterfly in 55.75.
 
Diving Athlete of the Week
Frida Zuniga, Senior, East Carolina
Zuniga finished her home dual meet career without a loss, winning both springboard events against Georgia Southern. She won the 1-meter event with a score of 308.78 points and the 3-meter event with 359.55 total points.
 
Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week
Libby Brewer, Tulane
Brewer won both springboard events against West Florida, claiming the 1-meter event with 238.65 total points, while recording a score of 260.40 points on the 3-meter boards.
