IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women's swimming and diving honors.
 
Swimming Athlete of the Week
Ella Dyson, Senior, Rice
Dyson won two events against Houston in the final dual meet of the season. She touched first in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:48.28 and claimed the 500 freestyle event in a time of 4:50.55.
 
Freshman Swimming Athlete of the Week
Lily Archibald, Rice
Archibald earned a pair of wins in Houston this past weekend. She won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 54.05 against the Cougars in a dual meet and won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.15 at the Houston First Chance meet.
 
Diving Athlete of the Week
Ruska Lehtonen, Senior, FIU
Lehtonen won two diving events against Florida Atlantic, claiming the platform event with an NCAA Zone Diving-qualifying score of 269.03. The senior also won the 3-meter event with a total score of 293.10 points.
 
Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week
Libby Brewer, Tulane
In a non-team scoring meet against LSU, Brewer placed second on platform with a score of 218.25, and finished third on 3-meter with 228.23 points.
