IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly men’s basketball honors for the 13^th week of the regular season.
 
Player of the Week
Jordan Riley, Sr., G, East Carolina
Riley scored 72 points over two games last week, averaging 36.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Against Rice on January 28, the senior dropped 37 points, while against Florida Atlantic on February 1, he recorded 35 points, nine rebounds and five assists while also making the final two free throws of the game to clinch a 76-75 win on the road.
 
Freshman of the Week
Josiah Parker, F, Florida Atlantic
Parker averaged 18.0 points and 9.5 rebounds over two contests for the Owls. He had a big double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds against Memphis on January 29 before dropping 15 more points and five rebounds against East Carolina on February 1.
 
Honorable Mention
Chance Westry, Jr., G, UAB
Averaged 16.0 points and 5.0 assists as the Blazers defeated UTSA and North Texas.
 
Anton Bonke, Jr., C, Charlotte
Helped the 49ers to a tie for the first place in the American standings by averaging 18.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in two wins.
 
Aiden Tobiason, So., G, Temple
Averaged 19.0 points and 3.5 assists as the Owls split a pair of games last week.
 
Rowan Brumbaugh, R-Jr., G, Tulane
Made the game-winning basket at Memphis and averaged 19.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in two games.
 
Tylen Riley, Jr., G, Tulsa
Averaged 25.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in wins over North Texas and Wichita State.
