IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winner of the league’s weekly golf honors.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Seb Cave, Jr., Charlotte
Cave finished tied for second place at The Hayt in a field that included three of the top six teams in the country, and six of the top ten individuals. He shot 10-under 206 and was just one stroke from the individual lead. Cave led Charlotte to a top three finish, beating four ranked teams, including No. 1 Virginia.
 
 
Women’s Golf Player of the Week
Francesca Pompa, So., Tulane
Pompa finished in third place at the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational, finishing just two strokes behind the individual leader.  She shot an even par across three rounds, shooting under par in the final three rounds (75-70-71).
