IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the second week of the 2026 season.
Offensive Player of the Week
Claire Niedermeier, Jr., F, North Texas
Niedermeier began a 2-0 North Texas week with the match-winning goal in the 61st minute of a 1-0 shutout of ULM before registering a second career hat trick (goals in the 16th, 24th and 64th minute) during a 4-2 win at McNeese State.
Defensive Player of the Week
Maddie Ward, So., D, Temple
Ward and the Temple defense were stellar in back-to-back shutouts of LIU and Saint Peter’s, allowing a total of six shots and only three shots on goal. Ward also contributed a goal to the 3-0 clean sheet against LIU.
Midfielder of the Week
Kyrsten Kizer, Sr., Tulsa
Kizer played the full 90 minutes in both matches of a 2-0 week, attempting five shots (two on goal) in a 4-1 win at Stephen F. Austin before successfully converting a penalty kick attempt in the 83rd minute to open Kizer's Tulsa goal account in a 2-0 shutout of Little Rock.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Sarah Margaret Seabrook, 5th, North Texas
Seabrook was the conference leader with nine total saves and ranked second in solo shutouts (1) and save percentage (.818) in a 2-0 week. Seabrook made four saves in a 1-0 shutout of ULM and turned away five shots in a 4-2 victory at McNeese State.
Freshman of the Week
Victoria Pimenta, F, Temple
Pimenta found the points column for the first time in a Temple uniform in a 3-0 win over LIU, scoring and assisting on the two insurance goals for the Owls.
Honorable Mention
Marlies Pison, Fr., M, Charlotte
Pison scored the match-winning goal, and first career goal, in the 51st minute after entering as a substitute in a 1-0 shutout for Charlotte against USC Upstate.
Ana Zivkovic, Fr., GK, Temple
Zivkovic ran active shutout streak to three consecutive full matches and over 290 minutes of total match time in a 3-0 win over LIU and a 1-0 clean sheet against Saint Peter’s.
Amelia Clark, Fr., M, UTSA
Clark registered first career points in a 4-1 victory for UTSA over St. Mary’s (TX), assisting on the match-winning goal and adding an insurance goal later in the second half.
Ava Jackson, R-So., F, UTSA
Jackson finished a 2-0 shutout of Colorado College with the match-winning goal and an assist and added an insurance goal during a 4-1 win over St. Mary’s (TX).
Lauren McIntyre, Jr., D, Tulsa
McIntyre connected on both shots on goal, including the match-winner in the 74th minute, for a two-goal outing in a 4-1 victory at Stephen F. Austin.
