IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the third week of the 2026 season.

Offensive Player of the Week
Hailey Santiago, Jr., F, Florida Atlantic
Santiago was the leading scorer in the conference during a 1-0-1 FAU week, scoring four goals and adding an assist. Santago notched a hat trick with goals in the third, fifth and 62nd minutes and added an assist in a 7-0 shutout of Howard before scoring a 63rd-minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Florida.

Defensive Player of the Week
Evelyn Mackay, Jr., D, Memphis
Mackay anchored a Memphis defense that limited Ole Miss to five shots on goal in a 3-1 road victory. Mackay also logged the match-winning goal and added an assist to the Tiger cause.

Midfielder of the Week
Ai Kitagawa, Jr., Memphis
Kitagawa eclipsed the 50 career points milestone in a 3-1 Memphis win at Ole Miss, opening the scoring with a ninth-minute goal and assisting on an insurance tally in the 76th minute of the triumph.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Ashley Small, Jr., Florida Atlantic
Small turned aside 10 shots, including six in the second half, to help guide FAU to a 1-1 home draw against Florida. Small’s .909 save percentage was the best among all conference goalkeepers who were credited with at least two saves last week.

Freshman of the Week
Lola Hathorne, M, Florida Atlantic
Hathorne scored an insurance goal and added two assists during a 7-0 shutout of Howard before attempting three total shots (two on goal) over 77 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Florida.

Honorable Mention
AJ Mayock, Jr., M, East Carolina
Mayock broke through for the winning ECU goal, and Mayock’s first of the season, in the 17th minute of a 2-0 victory at Western Carolina.

Abby Forsgren, Fr., M, Memphis
Forsgren headed home an Ai Kitagawa corner kick in the 76th minute to register first career goal in a 3-1 win at Ole Miss.

Ava Galani, So., GK, Memphis
Galani was credited with four saves on 10 total shots faced during the 3-1 win at Ole Miss, improving to 2-2 on the season.

Sophia Cabral, Jr., F, South Florida
Cabral finished with two goals on three shot attempts, including the match-winner, in a 3-0 shutout of Stetson.

Victoria Pimenta, Fr., F, Temple
Pimenta assisted on the opening Temple goal in the fourth minute before connecting on the match-winner in the 14th minute of a 2-1 win at Rider.
