PROVIDENCE, R.I. – SMU junior Jenny Haglund earned American Women’s Golf Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Thursday. Haglund posted her fourth top-10 finish of the year to lead the Mustangs to a sixth place finish at the Clover Cup. 
 
The former member of the Swedish National team opened the 54-hole event with a one-under par 71, just two shots off the individual lead, and finished just as strong, carding birdies on her final four holes of the tournament.  Haglund’s four under par on the Longbow Golf Club’s finishing holes were part of a Mustang effort that netted 10 birdies and a seven-under total on holes 15-18 on Sunday.
