Cross Country: Tulsa finishes 11th, Traynor 13th in NCAA Cross Country Championships



Terre Haute, Ind. - Tulsa’s Luke Traynor finished 13th overall and the Tulsa men’s team finished 11th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships Saturday (Nov. 21).

Traynor, who finished the 10K in 30:07.7, was named an All-American with his 13th place finish, which is the second-best individual in school history. The 11th place finish for the men’s team is also the second-best finish in school history.

Emmanuel Rotich, from Tulane, finished 85th overall with a time of 30:46.5 as the only other men’s competitor from The American.

On the women’s side, Anne-Marie Blaney from UCF raced as an individual and finished in 45th with a time of 20:29.6, the highest finish in UCF program history at the NCAA Championships. SMU’s Hannah Miller finished in 144th place, finishing in a time of 21:01.9
