The American Athletic Conference women's soccer teams went 5-3-1 on Friday as nine schools played in non-conference matchups.
Due to weather, the match between SMU and Rice was cancelled.

Highlights
- In the 27th minute, Leticia Skeete scored the first goal of the match for RV/NR USF. It was her 16th career goal, which ranks her seventh all-time for the Bulls. Freshman Andrea Hauksdottir scored her first collegiate goal for USF in the 67th minute.
- 15/9 UConn won it's third straight season opening match as they defeated Northeastern 1-0. Redshirt senior Stephanie Ribeiro shot the ball over the goalkeeper's head to score the game winning goal in the 32nd minute.
- Cincinnati defeated Dayton 2-1 in a double overtime match. Junior forward Julie Gavorski scored the game-winning goal with 11 seconds remaining in vertime to give the Bearcats the victory
- Junior Hannah Dauzat opened the season with a hat trick as Houston defeated Texas Southern 3-0. The Cougars are 6-0 against the Tigers.
-Despite trailing in the first half, Memphis came from behind to defeat Southeastern Louisiana. Four different Tigers scored goals in their 4-1 victory.
