- The American has a sole leader in first place after Wichita State
22 defeated SMU 3-1 at home to capture its seventh straight win with an undefeated conference mark. The Mustangs took the first set, 25-23, but the Shockers rallied to win-out the final three frames to claim the four-set victory as well as the top spot of the conference standings. Abbie Lehman paced Wichita State with 20 kills and hit a .576, while SMU was led by Lauren Mills and Kelly Brunstein, who each had 10 kills. Also notching 14 digs, Mills earned her league-leading 12th double-double of the season. The Mustangs drop to second in the standings with their first league loss this year, snapping a six-match winning streak.
- UCF ended a three-match setback after sweeping the Huskies at home. As a team, UCF hit a .330 with Kia Bright leading the way with a 13 kills and a .360 hitting percentage. Taylor Wickey added seven blocks, as the Knights led 11.5-2 in stuffs and held UConn to hitting a .009.
- Bri Wood exploded for a career-high 23 kills and a .488 hitting percentage to lead the ECU volleyball team to a 3-2 victory over Tulane inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. The win marked the fourth straight for the Pirates, who led 9-2 in blocks. ECU is tied for third place in the league with two other teams holding a 5-2 conference record. Tulane had four hitters reach the double-digits, as the Green Wave was led by Hannah Shaw who had 16 kills.
- Temple swept USF in Tampa to stay in third place with Cincinnati and ECU. Izzy Rapacz hit a .308 while adding 12 kills in the win. USF led in blocks, 9-6, with freshman Doris Carter posting a .389 hitting percentage and seven kills. The Bulls are 2-5 in league play and will face UConn at home on Sunday.
- Cincinnati joins ECU and Temple in third place after handing Houston its fifth conference loss of the year with a 3-1 win at home. Tied at 1-1 in the match, the Bearcats took the final two sets to earn the win behind double-double performances by both Carly Nolan and Jade Tingelhoff. Each of them have 11 double-doubles this year, which are the second most in the league. Brianna Lynch tallied a match-high 23 kills to fuel Houston's offense.
- Tulsa held Memphis to a .083 hitting percentage on the road, while Emily Thorson led the offense with her ninth double-double consisting of 12 kills and 10 digs. The Golden Hurricane stand in the middle of the conference pack with UCF, holding a 3-4 American record. Tai Bierria had a match-high 14 kills for the Tigers, who will search for their first league win on Sunday against SMU.
