Highlights
 
- ECU prevented UCF from earning its third win in row with a four-set victory over the Knights at home. The Pirates moved into the sole fourth place spot in American standings after Cincinnati suffered a five-set loss today. With a 9-5 league record, ECU is just one game behind Temple, who remains locked in third place despite being swept by Wichita State21 this afternoon. ECU put four players in double-digit kills, including Natalie Montini and Ashton Mares, who each shared the team-lead of 14 kills.
 
- The Shockers swept Temple to stay undefeated in conference action with a 14-0 American mark. Wichita State completed its season sweep over the Owls behind a .297 team hitting percentage. Abbie Lehman had 15 kills with a .577 hitting percentage and six blocks to lead the Shockers at the net.
 
- Just two matches behind the Shockers in second place in The American is SMU (18-7, 12-2 American Athletic Conference) who also went 2-0 this weekend. The Mustangs defeated Tulane 3-0 with the team hitting .347. Katie Hegarty had 12 kills and a .556 hitting percentage to guide SMU to victory. The Mustangs have won four in a row and are 9-1 in three-set matches this season.
 
- Tulsa joined ECU, SMU and Wichita State in enjoying an undefeated weekend after Emily Thorson collected 22 kills and added 17 digs to pace the Golden Hurricane to a 3-1 win over Houston. The double-double was her 12th this season. Taylor Horsfall led the back row with 28 digs, as Rachel Moore put down 18 kills in the win. Tulsa is even at 7-7 in conference play and stands alone in sixth place.
 
- USF outlasted Cincinnati in a five-set thriller to escape a two-match skid and defeat the Bearcats for the first time since 2014. USF out-blocked Cincinnati, 15-9, with Joli Holland earning seven stuffs to lead the Bulls. Carly Nolan had 26 kills and 14 digs for the Bearcats to earn her 16th double-double this season.
 
- UConn and Memphis also went the distance, as the Huskies came out on top to capture a 3-2 win on the road. UConn overcame a five-match setback with the victory, behind double-double efforts by Ally Barrett and Iman McGary. Memphis led 12.5-5 in blocks with Brianna Kadiku earning eight stuffs in the loss
