The Bulls shut out Eastern Michigan (3-4), 4-0, Thursday afternoon. USF (7-3) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the second inning. Morgan Gross and Cassidy Boyle led off with back-to-back singles, and AnaMarie Bruni took a pitch to the back to load the bases with no outs. A deep fly ball from Kristen Wyckoff plated Gross, putting the Bulls ahead.
Cheyenne Eggens picked up her third win of the year, throwing four scoreless innings and allowing just three hits. Eggens picked up a career-high six strikeouts and now has ten wins in her career.
