Memphis defeated the Pirates by a score of 5-1 Saturday afternoon. The Tigers took the lead early in the first and never trailed as they improve to 17-12 on the year and 2-0 in American Athletic Conference play.

Kyler Trosclair led the game off with a triple down the left field line to set the tone for the contest. She scored on a single by Lindsay Crowdus to give Memphis the early lead.

Tulsa won their eighth consecutive game on Saturday afternoon as they rallied from down a run early to defeat USF 7-3 in game two of the three-game series.

The victory clinched the first series win for the Hurricane (22-10 Overall, 2-0 The American) over USF (20-17 Overall, 0-2 The American) since Tulsa joined the conference in 2015.
