Highlights

After a pair of walk-off victories to start the weekend, UCF continued its resiliency by coming-from-behind in a 3-1 victory against Providence on Sunday. The Knights responded with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the fifth inning after Providence took a 1-0 lead to start the frame.

For the second time in two days,  UConn rolled past Northern Kentucky in a shortened game, as the Huskies split their Sunday doubleheader in the Coastal Carolina Invitational.Four players recorded multi-hit games for the Huskies (5-7) in game two against Northern Kentucky, on their way to a convincing 11-0 win. UConn dropped the first game to North Dakota, 4-0.

In a contest that featured 29 runs, 28 hits and nine home runs, it was East Carolina who had the final word as junior infielder Karlie Smith clubbed a three-run walkoff home run to vanquish Seton Hall 15-14 in both teams' final game of the Louisville Slugger Invitational on the campus of the University of the Pacific.


Memphis improves to 9-7 on the year after going a perfect 5-0 at the Blues City Classic.Freshman catcher Rebeca Melton  hit her first collegiate home run and drove in a total of two runs in the 6-3 win over Tennessee State Sunday afternoon. The Tigers were originally scheduled to play the TSU Tigers at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, but weather plagued play in the morning and the two squads got started around 3:40 p.m.
