USF won its fourth-straight game, topping the Jacksonville Dolphins, 5-2, Wednesday afternoon. The Bulls improved to 25-19 on the season, while Jacksonville fell to 22-17.The Bulls struck first in the top of the second, plating a pair of runs for the early 2-0 lead.
With one out, Bethaney Keen and Lindsey Devitt notched back-to-back singles, putting two on for Hannah Parker. Parker lined a single into center field, plating Keen for the first run of the game. Devitt would come home a batter later on a sacrifice fly by Lauren Evans.
The Bulls plated a pair of runs over the next two innings, using a Sam Worrell RBI double in the third and a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch to Astin Donovan in the fourth.
The Bulls continue their four-game road swing, venturing to Orlando for a three-game conference road series with UCF, April 13-15. The Bulls and Knights will compete for six points in the War on I-4 battle.
