- Cincinnati opened its series with an 8-2 win over East Carolina. Treg Haberkorn led the Bearcats with a triple and three RBIs and Manny Rodriguez drove in two runs. T.J. Perez picked up the win going seven shutout innings with eight strikeouts. T.J. Riles hit a solo home run for the Pirates.

- UCF beat UConn 8-1 on the heels of a complete game from starter Robby Howell. Howell gave up one run on four hits and struck out 11 Huskies. Rylan Thomas finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs. Eli Putnam also hit a home run for the Knights. Troy Stefanski drove in the only run of the game for UConn.

- Tulane hit three home runs in its 7-1 win over Houston. Jake Willsey hit two solo home runs and Jarett DeHart added a three-run home run for the Green Wave. Corey Merrell picked up the win going eight shutout innings, only allowing three hits and striking out three. Corey Julks hit a solo home run for the Cougars.

Phoenix Sanders grabbed the win going 5.1 innings, giving up one run and striking out seven. Drew Crosby went 7.2 innings, gave up three runs and struck out eight batters for the Tigers.
