UCF used a two-run fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie and even the series against UConn with a 3-2 victory Saturday afternoon. Freshman first baseman Jazmine Esparza blasted a solo home run and picked up two hits to pace the Knights. The rubber match between the Knights and Huskies is set for noon Sunday at the UCF Softball Complex.

The Knights will recognize their four seniors, Manami Calixto, Linnea Goodman, Willow Kalinen and Brittany Solis, following their final game at the UCF Softball Complex on Sunday at noon. Fans can play softball bingo and pick up trading cards of the Knights' four seniors.

Houston downed Memphis, 8-2, to clinch the American Athletic Conference series, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon at Tigers Softball Complex.

With the win, the Cougars improve to 25-22 overall and 10-5 in The American, while the Tigers fall to 26-25 overall and 5-10 in league action.

Tulsa guaranteed themselves at least a share of the American Athletic Conference regular season title as they defeated East Carolina 3-1 in 12 innings on Saturday afternoon for their ninth straight win. The Hurricane (35-13 Overall, 13-1 The American) out-hit the Pirates (25-28 Overall, 5-12 The American) 12 to two in the contest, sending the game into extra innings with one run in the sixth before plating two in the 12^th and final frame.
