Milton's 4 TDs Pace UCF Past FIU, 61-17

ORLANDO, Fla -- McKenzie Milton threw for career highs with 360 yards and four touchdowns as UCF rolled to a 61-17 win against Florida International Thursday night in the season-opener for both teams at Spectrum Stadium.




Milton completed 16 of 21 passes to lead a UCF offense that gained 587 yards and 31 first downs. Wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith had two touchdown catches among his three receptions, while wideout Dredrick Snelson had four catches for a team-high 98 yards.

Thirteen players had at least one reception for UCF.

Freshman Noah Vedral came on late in the third quarter and completed 10 of 12 passes for 79 yards for the Knights.

UCF begins conference play with a big early-season game next week as the Knights host Memphis, the preseason favorite in The American's West Division.
