UCF dropped its midweek matchup with Louisiana Tech falling 3-0 on Thursday afternoon after picking up the action in the top of the fourth after the game was suspended Wednesday evening due to rain. The Lady Techsters scored two runs in the first inning on Wednesday before play was suspended and took the two-run advantage into Thursday before adding a final run in the seventh inning. The loss snapped UCF's six-game winning streak and moved the Knights to 9-5 on the year with a 7-3 mark at home.

The Knights finished with four hits in the loss, one each from Cassady Brewer, Hayley Bejarano, Aubrey Johnson and Takiya London. Brewer, Johnson and London's hits were each doubles. Alea White took the loss, throwing seven innings and giving up five hits and three runs with six strikeouts to move to 5-4 on the season.
