USF 5, Rice 1
 
USF improved to 4-1 on the season with a 5-1 win over Rice in the UTSA Tournament in San Antonio. Evelyne Veins scored four games for the Bulls, tying the school record for goals in a match. It was also the third hat trick of her career, which is also tied for the school record.
 
Veins scored three goals in a five-minute stretch in the second half to break open a 1-1 game. Sydny Nasello slotted home a penalty kick to round out the scoring for USF.
 
SMU 4, Northern Colorado 0
 
Allie Thornton led the Mustang offense, scoring all four goals in SMU's 4-0 win over Northern Colorado on Friday night. SMU (4-1-0) put on an offensive show against the Bears (1-4-0) with 32 total shots and 11 on goal, holding possession throughout approximately 70 percent of the match.
 
Thornton put four of her seven shots into the back of the net throughout the match to reach a total of 30 career goals. The last time that a Mustang scored four or more goals was Sept. 20, 1987 when Patti Brown scored five versus Trinity.
 
ECU 5, UNC Asheville 0
 
In its most dominant effort of the young season, ECU earned a 5-0 win over UNC Asheville on Friday afternoon at Greenwood Field. ECU (1-2-1) picked up its first win of the season and its first result on the road. UNC Asheville (1-3-0) dropped its second home match of the season.
 
ECU had struggled to score in its first three matches, grabbing just one goal in that span. However, it took only 26 minutes on Friday for the Pirates to get on the scoreboard. Cashlin Copley connected with Jenna Dages and Dages was able to score her first goal of the season. The Pirates then poured in four goals in the second half.
 
Tulsa 3, Grambling State 0
 
Tulsa team captured a 3-0 win over Grambling State on Friday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.  TU moved to 3-1 on the season, while GSU fell to 3-2 overall.
 
Neha Igwe put the Golden Hurricane on the board with just 5:16 ticked off the clock as she picked up the ball at midfield, dribbled down to 10 yards out and then scored from left to right.  Neither team found the back of the net for the remainder of the half as TU took a 1-0 advantage into the locker room. Emilie Torres and Mia Darden added second half goals for the Hurricane.
 
Memphis 1, North Texas 0
 
Memphis improved to 4-1 on the season with a 1-0 win over North Texas at the Billy J Murphy Track & Soccer Complex. Kimberley Smit's first goal of the season came in the ninth minute and it was all the Tigers needed.
 
Smit cleaned up a loose ball in the box for the game’s only score. Elizabeth Moberg made two saves for her second straight shutout for the Tigers. Memphis led in shots, 18-6, and in shots on goal, 10-2.
 
Cal State Fullerton 3, Houston 2 (2OT)

Houston fell to 2-3 on the season after a 3-2 decision in double overtime at Cal State Fullerton. The Courgars took a 2-0 lead in the first half, but the Titans scored in the 82nd minute to force overtime and won it in the 105th in the second extra period.

Julissa DePaoli scored a goal and added an assist for the Cougars. She assisted Nolin Packer in the 36th minute to give Houston the lead and headed home a goal to double the lead right before halftime.
