UCF maintained its lead in The American standings with a straight-set sweep of SMU on the road in Dallas. The Knights took the win 25-22, 25-23, 25-17.
 
McKenna Melville hit at a .429 clip with 22 kills and 10 digs in the UCF victory. Claudia Dillion record eight kills in her nine attacks and Amber Olson posted 41 assists, three digs and two blocks for the Knights.
 
Hannah Jacobs powered SMU with 12 kills. Jadyn Bauss narrowly missed a double-double with nine kills and nine digs for the Mustangs.
 
Houston 3, Cincinnati 1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-18)
 
Houston handed Cincinnati its first home defeat of the season, dispatching the Bearcats 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-18 in four sets.
 
Kennedy Warren and Celeste Darling each powered Houston with 11 kills, and Abbie Jackson added nine kills, four service aces and 13 digs. Annie Cooke chipped in 42 assists and 11 digs for the Cougars.
 
Maria Mallon’s 16 kills and 16 digs topped the stat sheet for Cincinnati. Abby Walker hit .313 with 16 kills for the Bearcats.
 
Memphis 3, South Florida 2 (25-22, 25-23, 16-25, 21-25, 16-14)
 
Memphis turned aside South Florida in a rollercoaster five-set win at home. The Tigers defeated the Bulls 25-22, 25-23, 16-25, 21-25, 16-14.
 
Elizabeth Orf hit .450 with 11 kills and a pair of blocks for Memphis, and Miaya Smith and Gigi Crescenzo each finished the match with 10 kills. Sabrina Bianco added 42 assists and 12 digs for the Tigers.
 
Marta Cvitkovic logged 17 kills, three service aces and six digs in the hard-luck loss for USF. CC Clausen led all players in the contest with 14 digs.
 
Tulane 3, East Carolina 2 (25-21, 25-23, 25-27, 17-25, 15-6)
 
Tulane returned to its winning ways by earning a five-set victory on the road at East Carolina. The Green Wave took the decision by a 25-21, 25-23, 25-27, 17-25, 15-6 final score.
 
Lexie Douglas hit a sparkling .468 with 26 kills, five digs and three blocks in the Tulane win. Yvette Burcescu added 12 kills, two digs and three blocks and Anna Davis, Michelle Urquhart and Kayla Dinkins each finished with 11 kills for the Green Wave.
 
Sydney Kleinman led the way for ECU with 21 kills, eight digs and four total blocks. Bri Wood went for a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs, and Tia Shum added a match-high 21 digs for the Pirates.
 
Tulsa 3, Temple 0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-23)
 
Tulsa improved to 6-4 in conference play with a road sweep at Temple (25-19, 25-23, 25-23).
 
Aysu Dalogullari narrowly missed a double-double for Tulsa with 11 kills and nine digs. Avery Kalsu chipped in 26 assists and 12 digs and Maddie Flora led the Golden Hurricane with 14 digs.
 
Miray Bolukbasi fashioned a match-high 16 kills in defeat for Temple. Peyton Boyd hit .368 with 10 kills and four digs and Falanika Danielson contributed a match-high 19 digs.
