UCF 3, Tulsa 1 (25-15, 27-29, 25-19, 25-17)
UCF remained the only American team undefeated in conference play and took over sole possession of the league lead with a four-set victory against Tulsa. The Knights improved to 4-0 by way of a 25-15, 27-29, 25-19, 25-17 final score.
McKenna Melville registered 19 kills and 19 digs to go along with three service aces for UCF. Nerissa Moravec hit .529 with 11 kills and four total blocks. Heidi Bonde chipped in 16 kills on .412 hitting for the Knights.
Kayley Cassaday finished with 14 kills on .382 hitting to lead the way for Tulsa. Aysu Dalogullari notched seven kills and 11 digs and Marta Pecalli recorded 21 digs.
Cincinnati 3, SMU 1 (25-23, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24)
Cincinnati knocked SMU from the ranks of the conference unbeaten with a home victory in four sets (25-23, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24).
Maria Mallon and Shannon Williams tied for the Cincinnati lead with 15 kills each, and Mallon added a team-high 14 digs. Emme Madden registered a double-double with 48 assists and 11 digs.
Jadyn Bauss closed with 14 kills, nine digs and three block assists for SMU, and Rachel Woulfe added 12 kills and seven total blocks in defeat. Kaylyn Winkler hit .625 with 10 kills and five total blocks for the Mustangs.
East Carolina 3, Memphis 0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-22)
East Carolina leveled its conference record at 2-2 with a sweep of Memphis at home on Sunday (25-12, 25-21, 25-22).
Sydney Kleinman’s 18 kills and 19 digs powered the ECU lineup, and Natalie Tyson turned in nine kills on .409 hitting.
Miaya Smith closed the match with 12 kills and a .375 hitting percentage in defeat for Memphis. Sabrina Bianco logged 22 assists and 13 digs for the Tigers.
Houston 3, Temple 0 (25-16, 26-24, 25-15)
Houston advanced its league record to 3-1 with a straight-set road sweep at Temple by scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-15.
Abbie Jackson hit .306 to finish with 15 kills, three aces and eight digs for Houston, with Kennedy Warren turning in 12 kills and three digs. Annie Cooke posted 30 assists and five digs in the Cougar victory.
Miray Bolukbasi ripped 12 kills to go along with seven digs and four block assists in the Temple defeat. Peyton Boyd registered six kills, three block assists and five digs.
Wichita State 3, South Florida 0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-17)
Wichita State picked up its first conference win of the year with a convincing sweep of South Florida (25-17, 25-18, 25-17).
Sophie Childs hit .444 with 10 kills and four blocks in the Wichita State victory. Natalie Foster filled the stat sheet with nine kills and six block assists.
Marta Cvitkovic closed the contest with nine kills and four digs for USF, and CC Clausen led the Bulls with 11 digs.
