IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending February 21.

Petchey went 1-1 in both singles and doubles play last week, but delivered two clutch performances to help SMU to a 4-3 win against Mississippi State. She paired with Winslow Huth for a 7-6 (7) win at No. 3 doubles to clinch the first team point of the match and followed with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles, closing the third set by winning four straight games to break a 3-3 tie in the team score.
