IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending March 14.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ezequiel Santalla • Jr. • Tulsa • Mar de Plata, Argentina
Santalla repeats as The American’s Men’s Player of the Week after he led Tulsa to a 6-1 win against No. 35 Oklahoma with a key victory at No. 2 singles. Santalla scored a 6-3, 7-5 win against the No. 45-ranked player nationally for his second win against a top-50 player this season. Santalla improved his overall singles record to 15-8 in the 2021-22 season with his third consecutive victory.
