South Florida logged a 2-1 mark in home contests, defeating Niagara 7-1 on Wednesday and blanking Ohio State 5-0 on Thursday before falling to Purdue in the nightcap XX-XX.
Alexis Johns, Meghan Sheehan and Vivian Ponn each had two hits in the Niagara win, with Ponn driving in four runs and Johns scoring twice. Hallie Bryant went 2-for-2 with two runs against the Purple Eagles.
Georgina Corrick (18-1) threw a five-hit shutout to begin Thursday against Ohio State, walking one and striking out nine. Corrick’s team and conference record 88.1-inning scoreless streak ended in relief against Purdue, as she surrendered a solo home run and punched out four batters over the final three innings.

Wichita State rallied for a 3-1 win at Omaha on Wednesday night. The Shockers yielded just one hit to the Mavs, a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning and logged a two-run home run in the fifth and a solo shot in the sixth for the win.
Sydney McKinney went 2-for-3 and scored on an Addison Barnard two-run home run in the Wichita State fifth inning. Lauren Lucas added two hits and clubbed the solo homer for the Shockers in the top of the sixth.
Erin McDonald (3-4) walked three and struck out 11 Omaha batters, surrendering just the solo home run in the complete game win.

Tulsa split a Wednesday doubleheader against Abilene Christian, taking game one 4-1 before falling in the nightcap by an 8-2 final score.
Rylee Keith drove in two runs, including a solo home run, in the game one win. Kylie Norwood went a perfect 3-for-3 in the opening Tulsa victory.
Samantha Pochop (5-6) allowed two hits and walked one with eight strikeouts to take the win in the opening game.
