Georgina Corrick set the career strikeouts record at South Florida and the Bulls cruised to a 5-0 victory over Canisius on Tuesday. South Florida tallied two runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth inning to pick up the win.
 
Josie Foreman clubbed a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth and Vivian Ponn a two-run shot in the home half of the sixth inning to power the South Florida offense. Meghan Sheehan contributed an RBI single during the sixth for the Bulls.
 
Corrick (22-1) surpassed South Florida Athletics Hall of Famer and 2014 American Pitcher of the Year Sara Nevins’ previous program mark for career strikeouts (1,103) in the win, spinning her 47th career shutout with two hits and no runs allowed to go along with 14 punchouts.

Houston captured a pair of home wins against Sam Houston, tallying a first-inning run in a 1-0 showing in game one before rallying in the bottom of the seventh for a 3-2 walk-off win in the nightcap.
 
Hannah Todd (4-4) threw a three-hit shutout for the Cougars in game one, walking two with three strikeouts. Amanda Carden delivered a one-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh of game two that plated Rock Benavides and Katy Repa to complete the sweep.
