No. 23/20 UCF completed a three-game sweep of conference foe Memphis, blanking the Tigers 8-0 in six innings on Sunday. The Knights won all three games by way of shutout, limiting Memphis to just eight hits on the weekend.
 
Ashleigh Griffin and Maddie Bejarano each drove in two runs for UCF in the series finale, and Johneisha Rowe added two hits, a stolen base and two runs for the Knights.
 
Kaitlyn Felton (4-2) turned in a two-hit shutout for UCF to clinch the sweep, issuing two walks while striking out three Memphis batters.
 
Wichita State 2, South Florida (RV) 1
 
Wichita State salvaged the final game of a weekend set at South Florida with home runs in the fourth and sixth innings to capture a 2-1 road victory.
 
Jessica Garcia blasted off for a solo shot in the top of the fourth inning to tie the game at 1-1. Zoe Jones later clubbed the game-winning solo bomb in the top of the sixth to lift Wichita in front 2-1.
 
Allison Cooper (5-2) scattered one earned run and four hits in a compete game effort, walking one and striking out two for Wichita State.
 
Houston 8, East Carolina 0 (6)
 
Houston won a sixth straight game and locked up the series sweep at East Carolina with an 8-0 win after six innings. The Cougars raced out with five runs in the top of the first inning and added three runs in the top of the sixth.
 
Bethany Busch clocked a three-run home run to lead the Houston attack and scored a team-high two runs. Amanda Carden and Rock Benavides each chipped in two hits and a run scored for the Cougars.
 
Kenna Wilkey (8-5) fashioned a five-hit shutout in the win for Houston, walking one while punching out nine ECU batters.
