No. 20 UCF won a sixth straight game overall and moved to 7-0 in conference play with a 1-0 home win against East Carolina.
 
Johneisha Rowe provided the game’s scoring with an RBI single to center field in the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring Justene Molina to give the Knights a 1-0 advantage. Rowe and Molina were among six different players from UCF with a hit.
 
Gianna Mancha (15-3) carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning and allowed a lone double in a complete game shutout, walking two with four strikeouts for UCF in the win over ECU.
 
Tulsa 6, Memphis 5
 
Tulsa tallied four runs in the top of the sixth inning and withstood a four-run Memphis bottom of the seventh to claim a 6-5 road win to open the series.
 
Kylie Norwood led Tulsa with a pair of hits, including a home run, three RBI and two runs in the win. Norwood led five different Tulsa players who finished the game with two hits each. Camryn Wineinger went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs to pace Memphis.
 
Wichita State 10, Houston 1 (6)
 
Wichita State erupted for six runs in the top of the sixth inning, including four runs with two outs, to lift the Shockers past Houston 10-1 in six innings to kick off a three-game set on the road.
 
Zoe Jones clubbed a three-run home run in the first inning and scored two runs in the Wichita State win. Addison Barnard, Lauren Lucas and Lainee Brown each added two RBI and Sydney McKinney and Neleigh Herring scored a pair of runs for the Shockers.
 
Alison Cooper (6-2) allowed two hits and an unearned run in six innings, walking three Houston batters while striking out four to earn the win for Wichita State.
