South Florida posted off a 4-0 win from a game that was postponed due to weather on Friday night, adding a 2-0 Saturday victory to secure the series triumph.
 
Georgina Corrick (30-5) spun her second perfect game of the season in game one, striking out 11 Houston batters on just 93 pitches in game one. Corrick followed it up with a two-hit shutout in game two, walking two with 11 more punchouts against the Cougars. Corrick’s 16th shutout of the season established a program record for a single season.
 
Megan Pierro drove in two runs to power the South Florida attack in the game one victory. Alanah Rivera contributed a clutch RBI triple in the nightcap to open the scoring for the Bulls.
 
Wichita State 6, East Carolina 4
 
Wichita State broke through for six runs over the final two innings to capture the series at East Carolina by a 6-4 final score.
 
Sydney McKinney broke up a 1-1 game with an RBI single up the middle in the top of the seventh inning to push the Shockers in front 2-1. Lauren Lucas blasted a grand slam later in the inning to push the lead out of reach at 6-1. Logan Sutton closed the ECU gap to 6-4 with a three-run home run in the home half of the seventh.
 
McKinney’s two hits and two runs led all players in the game, while Addison Barnard reached base twice and scored one run. Taudrea Sinnie ripped a pair of base hits to match Sutton for the ECU team lead.
 
No. 21/20 UCF 2, Tulsa 1
 
No. 21/20 UCF held Tulsa at bay over the final five innings to capture the series by way of a 2-1 game two final and remain atop The American standings.
 
Justene Molina and Allyse Volpe each contributed RBI in the second inning to drive the UCF offense. Claira Skaggs pushed across the opening run of the game for Tulsa in the top of the second inning.
 
Kama Woodall (15-3) scattered four hits in a complete game victory for UCF, walking two Tulsa batters while striking out four to earn the win.
