No. 22/20 UCF claimed the third game of a weekend series against No. 5 Virginia Tech with a 5-4 walk-off in 11 innings on Monday night. It was the fifth win for the Knights this season against the current RPI top 25.
 
Ashleigh Griffin led UCF with three RBI, including a two-run home run to tie the game at 2-2 in the second innings and an RBI double in the sixth inning to re-tie the game at 4-4. Shannon Doherty delivered the game-winning RBI double down the right field line in the bottom of the 11th inning to score Jada Cody for the win.
 
Kama Woodall (11-2) spun six innings of shutout relief, allowing five hits and posting four strikeouts for UCF.
