No. 23/20 UCF officially locked up a third straight conference series victory, blanking Memphis in a second straight game with a 6-0 Saturday win. The Knights held the Tigers to three hits for the second straight game and raced out to a 4-0 lead after two innings.
 
Jada Cody closed game two 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI, a stolen base and two runs to lead UCF to the win. Micaela Macario also went 3-for-3 and scored a pair of runs for the Knights.
 
Kama Woodall (12-2) surrendered two hits over six innings to earn the victory, striking out one Memphis batter.
 
South Florida (RV) 5, Wichita State 3
 
South Florida battled back from an early deficit and broke free of a sixth inning tie to defeat Wichita State 5-3 to secure a series win on Saturday. The Bulls won their fifth straight league game and claimed a second straight series.
 
Dez Maldonado broke a 3-all tie in the bottom of the sixth inning with a two-run double down the left field line to give South Florida the lead for good at 5-3. Maldonado and Megan Pierro both finished the game with two hits and two RBI to lead the Bulls, while Zoe Jones went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI for Wichita State.
 
Antoinette Hill (2-0) was the South Florida winning pitcher with two scoreless innings of relief. Georgina Corrick picked up her second save of the year with a spotless seventh inning and two strikeouts out of the bullpen.
 
Houston 6, East Carolina 3
 
Houston officially locked up a road series at East Carolina, winning its fifth straight game overall thanks to a 6-3 triumph in Greenville. The Pirates raced out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning before the Cougars ran off six unanswered runs.
 
Bethany Busch connected on the game-winning three-run home run in the fifth inning and led all players with four RBI. Becca Schulte and Paige Hulsey both tallied two runs in the victory for Houston. Taudrea Sinnie, Chandley Garner and Taylor Woodring each had three base hits for ECU.
