South Florida completed the home conference sweep against Houston by claiming a 7-0 win in the series finale. The Bulls blanked the Cougars by a combined score of 13-0 and limited Houston to just six singles over three games.
 
Dez Maldonado went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored for South Florida in Sunday’s victory. Alanah Rivera drove in a game-high three runs in the final game of the weekend.
 
Georgina Corrick (31-5) established a conference record with win number 31 on the season, toss a third straight shutout against Houston for the series. Corrick scattered four hits and struck out four batters on Sunday.
 
Wichita State 8, East Carolina 1
 
Wichita State polished off a dynamic offensive weekend at East Carolina by closing the series sweep with an 8-1 Sunday win. The Shockers outscored the Pirates 38-6 over three games and batted .419 with 22 extra-base hits (16 home runs).
 
Zoe Jones clubbed two home runs and drove in four runs for Wichita State to cap the sweep. Lauren Mills added a home run and two RBI, and Lauren Lucas scored a game-high three runs.
 
Alison Cooper (8-2) tossed a six-hit complete game victory for the Shockers, yielding one walk while striking out seven Pirates in the game.
 
No. 21/20 UCF 8, Tulsa 0 (6)
 
No. 21/20 UCF shut out Tulsa by an 8-0 score in six innings to close a series sweep of the Golden Hurricane. The pitching staff of the Knights limited Tulsa to just six hits and one earned run in the series, tossing a combined no-hitter in the finale.
 
Shannon Doherty led UCF with three hits and three RBI in the Sunday victory, while Kennedy Searcy and Johneisha Rowe each scored two runs.
 
Gianna Mancha (19-3) allowed two walks and struck out four in 4.2 innings pitched as the game’s starter. Kama Woodall spun the final 1.1 innings with three strikeouts for UCF.
