The East Carolina softball team recorded another sweep on day two of the Battle at the Beach tournament, defeating Colgate 3-1 in the first game of the day and outlasting Drexel 4-3 in extra innings at St. John Stadium on Saturday.
 
Bailee Wilson would hit a massive RBI double in the top of the ninth to bring two Pirates runs in and Taylor Smith (1-0) would close out the bottom of the ninth and shut down Drexel's last two batters to give the Pirates their second win of the day.

Tulsa 4, Southern Miss 2 – Box Score
The University of Tulsa softball team dominated Alcorn State 15-0 in five innings before taking down the hosts Southern Mississippi 4-2 at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday. 
 
Maura Moore (3-1), Kylee Nash (1-2) and Riley Grant all featured in the circle on Saturday. Nash and Grant combined to throw a two-hit shutout against the Braves in the early game. Nash struck out one while allowing just a single hit in three innings, while Grant struck out four in two innings with one hit.
 
Houston 3, Hofstra 0 – Box Score
Houston 5, Morgan State 2 – Box Score
The University of Houston softball team guaranteed a winning record at the Houston Classic, posting a 3-0 victory against Hofstra to open the afternoon, followed by a 5-2 win over Morgan State Saturday evening at the Cougar Softball Stadium.
 
Sophomore Ja'Naiya Thomas paced Cougar hitters, going 6-for-7 with three runs, three stolen bases, two RBIs and a double on the afternoon. Bree Cantu, who tallied her second home run of the weekend in the first game of the day, Paige Hulsey and Turiya Coleman have all reached base safely all nine games this season, while Brooke Lorenzo extended her own reached base streak to eight games.

Wichita State bounced back from being run-ruled in its last outing with two run-rule victories on Saturday, defeating FDU, 10-0, and San Diego, 13-0.

Sydney McKinney made more history on Saturday, extending her hit streak to 28. That puts her into the NCAA record book, tied for the 17th longest in NCAA history.

Alison Cooper threw the 20th no-hitter in school history in the Shockers' 13-0 run-rule of San Diego. She allowed just two baserunners via walks.
 
Memphis 8, Cleveland State 0 – Box Score
North Florida 8, Memphis 0 – Box Score
The Memphis softball team recorded their largest win of the season as they split day one of the JU/UNF Invitational. The Tigers defeated Cleveland State 8-0 in game one before falling to North Florida University 8-0. The Tigers move to 2-7 overall.
 
Memphis struck first against Cleveland State with Kendall Lee, Meagan Chism and Neely Taylor running home to put the Tigers up 3-0 in the top of the first inning. Kelsi Adams hit an RBI double, sending Presley Morris home before scoring herself in the top of the second inning. The Tigers added three more runs in the top of the third; Adams hitting a 2 RBI single to the right side, sending Linsey Hargis and Morris home.
 
Duke 4, UCF 3 – Box Score
Alabama 6, UCF 5 – Box Score
UCF lost a pair of extra inning games to ranked opponents on Saturday, falling to No. 17 Duke in 10 innings, 3-4 to start the day, before losing to No. 12 Alabama, 5-6 in eight innings.
 
The Knights finished with 11 hits on the day with five coming off the bats of their top three batters. UCF came from behind in both contests, tying the Blue Devils in the sixth inning and the Crimson Tide in the fifth, but couldn’t take the lead.
 
Texas A&M 5, South Florida 1 – Box Score
The University of South Florida softball team lost to the Texas A&M Aggies, 5-1, in the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational on Saturday morning.
 
South Florida's only run of the game came in the fourth inning. Senior Bailee Leistl singled up the middle and then stole second. Leistl advanced to third on a fielder's choice by Megan Pierro and then scored on a wild pitch.
