TAMPA, Fla. – The American Athletic Conference has adjusted the start times for the three first-round games of the 2023 American Athletic Conference Softball Championship in anticipation of inclement weather Thursday afternoon.
The game between No. 5-seeded Houston and No. 4-seeded Tulsa will start at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT
The second game of the day, between No. 8-seeded Memphis and No. 2-seeded UCF will start no earlier than 12:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. CT.
Thursday's final opening-round game will have No. 6-seeded East Carolina against No. 3-seeded South Florida at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT.
All three first-round games will be televised on ESPN+.
The schedule for Friday's semifinal round and Saturday's championship final remain unchanged.
