IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending January 29.

Quiteiro was a combined 4-0 spanning two matches at the Chapel Hill site of the ITA Kickoff Weekend as she helped the 49ers split a pair of matches. Playing at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, Quiteiro took a 7-5, 6-4 win and a 6-3 doubles victory in Charlotte’s 4-3 loss to Kentucky, while she added a three-set singles decision (6-4, 5-7, 6-4) and a 6-4 doubles set in a 4-2 win against Oregon. Quitiero is 5-0 in doubles play in dual matches in the 2024 spring season and is 3-2 in the No. 1 singles position.
