IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending February 12.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Panna Bartha • Fr. • Florida Atlantic • Hungary
Bartha was a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles to lead Florida Atlantic to a pair of dual match victories against American Athletic Conference teams. She took a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles and was a 6-4 winner at No. 3 doubles in the Owls’ 4-3 team victory against South Florida. She followed with another straight-set win at No. 1 (6-1, 6-4) and won the clinching point in doubles (7-5) in a 4-1 win against North Texas. Bartha improved to 7-0 in singles play this season, all at the No. 1 position, and is 4-2 in doubles.
