IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending February 12.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alvin Tudorica • Sr. • South Florida • Toronto, Ontario
Tudorica, ranked No. 35 on last week’s ITA singles chart, went 3-0 at the No. 1 position, helping South Florida to two wins in three dual matches. He scored a 7-5, 6-0 win in the Bulls’ 4-3 setback to Miami (Fla.), delivered the clinching point with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win in a 4-3 victory against Georgia Southern and took a 6-3, 7-6 (1) decision to spark a 6-1 win against Florida Gulf Coast. Tudorica went 2-1 in doubles on the week, with the only loss coming to a nationally ranked tandem from Miami. He stands at 7-1 in singles, with wins in six straight matches, and is 5-2 in doubles.
