Wichita State improved to 6-2 in conference play with a pair of wins over UTSA on Friday in Wichita. The Shockers defeated the Roadrunners 10-2 in the first game of the doubleheader before earning a series win with an 8-0 win in game two. Elsewhere, East Carolina earned their first conference win of the season with a 4-1 win over Charlotte, while North Texas defeated Tulsa 1-0. American softball will be back in action on Saturday.
