IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending March 4.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Alemany led Memphis to a 4-2 victory against No. 24 Oklahoma State with key wins in both singles and doubles. He scored a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles against the Cowboys' top player, who was ranked No. 15 nationally. He paired with Charlie Barry for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles to help the Tigers claim the doubles point. Alemany moved into the ITA singles rankings this week, standing at No. 68 after his second win against a ranked singles player, while the Tigers enter the week at No. 17 nationally.
